Multi-Vendor (MV) service is the fastest growing segment of our business today. Customers are asking for a single provider to service all their equipment, regardless of who manufactured it. Customer needs have changed and often include multiple OEM imaging devices under one hospital system. “Our vision for Global Services Education will be enhanced with the addition of our MV equipment, adding to our competencies in what we teach so that every student is prepared, supported and empowered to safely serve our customers,” said Art Larson , GM–Global Services Training & Documentation. “The ability for us to combine our proficient and advanced curriculum, with hands-on MV lab activities, will provide a unique experience for GE and customers alike, and will be unparalleled in the industry.” We are remodeling our Healthcare Institute (HCI) in Milwaukee, WI, and co-locating our GE Healthcare and MV diagnostic imaging equipment to this facility. We are creating a world-class, in-residence training center for our teams, which is aligned with our customers' needs and our GE service delivery model. MV equipment is being transferred from our Arlington, TX, Technical Center of Excellence facility (TCOE), including new and upgraded system investments as part of the move.
