Service Magazine Fall 2017

28 | @Service Magazine Summer 2017 How can you ensure leadership hears your ideas, concerns and feedback? Answer: Our Field Employee Advisory Council (FEAC) and Director of Service (DoS) Advisory Council. Both teams exist to ensure you are heard across all levels of the business. These groups consist of your peers who are chosen each year to serve as your voice and connection across the business. Field Employee Advisory Council (FEAC) What does the FEAC do? We re-established the FEAC in 2016. Its purpose is to represent our field service teams with leadership and help shape key initiatives impacting our business. The FEAC shares their candid viewpoints from the field with our Service leadership — sharing ideas and providing continuous feedback on various Service initiatives. In addition, they have first-hand access to senior leaders and exposure/input to Service initiatives as they are being developed, and they serve as a critical communication channel back to the field. Who serves on the FEAC? The FEAC consists of field engineers, biomedical technicians and technical support specialists who are nominated by their leaders and selected to serve on the FEAC for one year. Each year, a new set of Council members is selected to serve. “I wanted to be on the FEAC to make a difference for my peers and the company,” said Jason Young , Field Engineer, North Central Zone. “Communication lines between upper management and the field can occur in an unfiltered manner, which enables us to be on the same page.” If you’d like to provide input, or have a question for the FEAC, contact the FEAC member from your zone. 2017 FEAC (left to right) Back row: Sal Bonello, Steve Burkhardt, Rich King Row 4: Chuck Belhassen, Kevin Kruer, Michael Mann Row 3: Larry Moody, Adrian Heilman, Jason Young, Mohammad Saraj Row 2: Bud Birdwell, Phil Carlson, Jay Kim Row 1: Mike Beleut, Darnell Williams, Angie King, Mike Pantaleon Meet Your FEAC and DoS Advisory Council
