This is the largest non-national account win in the history of GE Service. GE Healthcare won out over 11 other vendors who began the process, thanks to a strong history with the customer and a committed team effort across sales, with support from finance, legal, HR, pricing, risk teams, and the entire leadership team. “The team involved in this win represented the way our organization is designed to work,” said Todd Hall , GM Service Sales Central Zone. “Everyone played their role to the best of their ability, they trusted each other to deliver value to the client, and there was a relentless orientation toward ‘yes, if.’ Despite the other advantages we had in winning this opportunity, our people were our biggest differentiator.” Unique details of this win Mercy Health has 21 acute-care facilities and more than 3,200 staffed beds supplemented by more than 450 clinics. They were looking for a more comprehensive asset management program than they previously had, and were seeking: • significant operational cost savings • a capitated cost structure • better utilization and allocation of medical assets GE Healthcare will provide Mercy with: • Immediate savings – nearly $12 million annually for the next seven years • A comprehensive healthcare technology management (HTM) program. This includes maintenance of all biomedical and imaging assets, management of all their mobile medical equipment rentals, and ownership of system-wide cleaning and distribution of mobile medical equipment.
