This eliminates the need for constant pricing modifications due to inventory changes and greatly simplifies invoicing. • Predictability by introducing a capitated coverage approach that greatly reduces the possibility of out-of- contract expenses and allows Mercy to easily identify future program costs. • Standardization by streamlining every stage of the equipment lifecycle through a comprehensive asset- management program designed to increase equipment utilization and optimize inventory levels. • A program structure and pricing model that will allow for additional sites to be added easily – enabling this agreement to grow as Mercy does. • Financial benefits to encourage Mercy to purchase additional GE technology during the life of this agreement. “While it was complicated and even frustrating at times, we turned out a service product that is unlike anything we have provided before,” said Scott Tryba , Senior Director, Customer Operations North Central Zone. “We were okay with challenging each other to better serve the customer and meet their requests, but in a compliant and ‘still good business’ way. Everyone had a voice.” Off and running This agreement kicked off June 26. We’ve hired nearly 80 Mercy-focused GE Healthcare employees, responsible for managing over 100,000 assets. Feedback from the client regarding the transition has been extremely positive, and Mercy is already promoting this program with its affiliates. “This program’s substantial scale and unique structure signals to the entire U.S. healthcare service market that GE continues to create contemporary, outcomes-based programs that deliver immediate and significant outcomes to its clients,” said Todd. “Mercy will serve as another strong reference and template for future opportunities with clients across the country.” This win is the result of a monumental team effort. Thanks to Todd Hall, Scott Elston, Brad Midtlien, Justin Galloway, Kris St. Martin, Scott Tryba, Michelle Burtscher and many others across the business!
